The Role
As a Web Designer at YaRa Consulting, you won't just be "making things look pretty." You will be a digital architect. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design process — from initial stakeholder discovery sessions and wireframing to delivering pixel-perfect high-fidelity designs that drive results for our diverse portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic UI/UX Design: Design intuitive, user-centric websites and landing pages that align with YaRa Consulting's high standards of professional excellence.
Client Collaboration: Work directly with consultants and external clients to understand brand identity and user requirements.
Prototyping: Build interactive prototypes in Figma to demonstrate functionality and user flow before hand-off to development.
Brand Evolution: Assist in the development and maintenance of internal and client-facing style guides and design systems.
Accessibility & Compliance: Ensure all designs are fully responsive and compliant with WCAG 2.2 standards to meet UK legal and ethical requirements.
Quality Assurance: Work closely with front-end developers to ensure the final build matches the design intent perfectly.
Candidate Requirements
Experience
3+ years in a professional web design role (Consultancy or Agency background is a plus).
Software Mastery
Expert-level Figma skills. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
Technical Knowledge
Solid understanding of Grid systems, Typography, and Mobile-First design.
Communication
Ability to present design decisions clearly to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.
Portfolio
A professional portfolio showcasing clean, corporate, and functional web aesthetics.
Desirable Skills
Familiarity with the UK consultancy landscape and B2B design trends.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS capabilities to ensure design feasibility.
Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow) for rapid deployment.
